ONEX RF uses a single control software that complies with the recent FDA requirements and is designed to operate all the ONEX RF welding systems. The software has built in features that can be turned on or off to meet different customer needs. Recipe Screen

Functional Description

Recipe screen is designed to save up to 60 recipes. Each recipe contains the entire process parameters including the process limits established by the validation engineers. 

The recipes can only be created or deleted by having high level password access.

Operator level password only allows to load a recipe and run the RF welder.

Functions

  1. Load Recipe by clicking on a button
  2. Create New Recipe
  3. Save new recipe
  4. Save changed parameters to the recipe
  5. Rename Existing Recipe

Die Setup Screen

Setup Engineer Level Password Protected

Functional Description

Die setup screens is for safe access to the RF welding press from the back or side doors. The HMI screen shows which door is open or closed and when the press is jogged to a position the Safe-Mode button is pressed to open the doors without causing an emergency condition, which would otherwise dump the main air pressure.

Manual Screen

Setup Engineer Level Password Protected

Functional Description

Manual screen alllows to perform the following function:
  • Manually move all the cylinders to test functionality of each station.
  • Run RF welding cycle to monitor the welding process and make sure the generator impedance is matched with the sealing die, if not make proper changes on the auto tuner capacitors.
  • The grapah is the same as the main screen.

System Level Screen

The Highest Level Password is Required

Functional Description

System Level Setup screen alllows to set limits on critical process parameters.
This limits are designed to prevent equipment or tooling damage. If the engineer accidentaly loads higher process parmaeter the system will not allow to seal. 
You can also select Indexing dial rotation direction and operating method. You can run the indexer in normal or in shuttle mode to rotate the indexer in reverse direction after the RF welding cycle.
