How and why does ONEX Servo Tipper PRO outperform other Catheter Tipping systems?
✅ On the original ONEX Servo Tipper models, you could control slide speed and forming depth, which already gave a significant advantage over air-driven catheter tipping machines that rely on fixed positioning. However, material variations still affect how tubing behaves during catheter tip forming.
✅ The new Servo Tipper PRO uses built-in force feedback, allowing you to monitor and control insertion force in real time. Instead of just moving to a set position, the system reacts to resistance, helping reduce over-insertion, prevent buckling, and improve consistency in catheter tipping across different materials.
✅ The new robot interface can be directly connected to other automation cells and communicate via Ethernet/IP and discrete I/O, making integration into automated catheter tipping systems more seamless.
✅ The tube clamp force control feature helps reduce surface damage when working with sensitive or thin-wall medical tubing used in catheter tip forming.
At ONEX, we continually introduce new system features to enhance the catheter tipping process control, helping OEMs and R&D teams improve production consistency and efficiency.
Nerses Bogosyan, Process Developer at ONEX RF, walks through the updates on our Catheter Tipping System and how they improve real catheter tip forming process control. Watch the video below.
